Web Engineer Vacancy 2011 KL Malaysia.
[Location: The Gardens South Tower – Mid Valley City, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia)
As Web Engineer, your job is to design, develop, and implement code for our web applications on LAMP stack. If you have experience in managing production Linux servers, it is a big bonus.
Job Scope for this position includes:
a) Assists in development of web-based projects involving
Project Design/Development :-
- Database design/development
- Flow of system
- Application design/development
Project Coding :-
- Development of codes and databases for the web-based projects
- Knowledge to hand code and using GUI tools
HTML/Creative development :-
- Understanding of creative development (such as HTML page development, graphic/flash development)
- Deployment of web projects
- Maintenance of web projects
b) Design & Development of Web2.0 functionalities and applications
c) Familiarity with Android, iPhone, or Blackberry mobile applications would be a plus
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering (Computer/ Telecommunication), Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
- Solid understanding of programming concepts
- Solid coding skills in PHP, Javascript, SQL
- At least 2-3 years experience on LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP)
- Excellent communications skill (English)
